Same problem with 3.0 RTM.

Active Directory world is tough. Some braches of the Active Directory DIT just forbidden for modification and some attributes (so called SAM attributes) are not allowed to be added via LDAP API.

Since version 3.1 you can try using the "Exclude SAM attributes" option when importing/exporting data.

I have this same issue -

I have downloaded V3.1 with the ability to "Exclude SAM attributes" & it still fails (tried it both ways). All I'm trying to do is add an existing user from one AD domain into a similar domain. After exporting I edit/change all references to the new domainname, save the file, & import into the new domain. I have the proper permissions in both domains.
