GSS Negotiate - what SASL is used

Postby jbritton » Thu Apr 05, 2012 3:30 pm

I was wondering if there is a way to determine exactly what happens with Softerra when communicating with an LDAP server using GSS Negotiate mechanism. Is there a log file? Can we somehow determine what SASL mechanism is "negotiated"?

Hello.

Generic security services (GSS) (Snego). Does not provide authentication, but instead chooses the most appropriate authentication method from a list of available services and passes all authentication data to that service.

Thanks for the answer. I had the same question and now it's more clear.
