[Error 34] Invalid DN syntax

Postby massteve00 » Thu Sep 14, 2006 6:07 pm

When trying to connect to my OpenLDAP server on Linux from the LDAP browser, I am getting the DN syntax Error. I am using "cn=Manager,dc=test,dc=com" as the base, with port 389.

Here's my slapd.conf (I modified the dc value to test)

include /usr/local/etc/openldap/schema/core.schema
include /usr/local/etc/openldap/schema/cosine.schema
include /usr/local/etc/openldap/schema/inetorgperson.schema
include /usr/local/etc/openldap/schema/nis.schema
include /usr/local/etc/openldap/schema/redhat/autofs.schema
include /usr/local/etc/openldap/schema/horde.schema
#database ldbm
database bdb
suffix "dc=test,dc=com"
rootdn "cn=Manager,dc=test,dc=com"
rootpw test
