Dear Support,

On an Windows 2008 R2 Server runs follow batch-file:

Script.bat
D:\sw\Softerra_LDAPBrowser4\laimex.exe /d EXCEL /f D:\sw\ICE\B2B-Lieferanten\B2B-Lieferanten.xlsx /s svrserverxxx.company.ch:389 /user CN=LdapBrowser,OU=US,OU=FIRM,OU=TechnicalUser,OU=Organisation,DC=Orggin,DC=de /pwd xxxxxxx /mech SIMPLE /r OU=B2B,OU=Organisation,DC=cool,DC=de /t (objectClass=user) /a cn,iamActivationKey,accountExpires,pwdLastSet,sn,givenName,mail,company /p SUB

If i start manually the batch-file the Excel-File B2B-Lieferanten.xlsx will create fine.

If i start the batch-file about the Task-Scheduler with the same user-Credentials (User is in the local-Administrator-Group) the Excel-File B2B-Lieferanten.xlsx will by empty.

Hello.
Could you please specify, what version of MS Excel is installed on your PC?

It is a Windows 2008 R2 Server.
On it is installed Microsoft Excel 2010.

If i start the bat-file manually the data are complettly in the export-file.
A run over the task-scheduler create a empty file.
The initial run of the batch-file find the data (see c:\error.log) but transfer to excel-sheet goes to error.

ps: i have mean the ldap-administrator use a integrated dll to export to excel. is this correctly ?

Thank you for the info Chris. We are checking this issue.
As for your question, LDAP Administrator uses the installed MS Excel API. If MS Excel is not installed, the export operation to the Excel format is not supported.

Thak you for support.

if the export goes to csv like "laimex.exe /d CSV " the data are present if the batch-file runs over the "scheduled-task manager".
A Export to "laimex.exe /d EXCEL" generate follow message:

Remember: The issue is only if the batch is started over the "scheduled-task manager"

Hello Chris,
We've reproduced the same testing environment as you have and run the scheduled export. Everything works fine. I've noticed in your log that the error occurs when MS Excel is trying to save data to a file.It seems to me that the account, from which you are trying to run the scheduler, does not have permissions to save data to a file using MS Excel.

Also, I've googled about the error in your log. It is an MS Excel error that occurs when the SaveAs operation can not be performed using Excel API. Please see -> google search

And one more thing. Maybe it could help you... The implementation of export operation first saves an exported data using MS Excel API in a file in a user local temp folder (e.g. C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Temp\scp${xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx}\). It looks like error happens there.
