Citrix & LDAP Browser : how to set a profile for everyone

Postby orenault » Mon Dec 17, 2012 1:34 pm

Hi,

I'm making some tests with LDAP Browser 4.5, and I've published it through a Citrix farm.

My pb is to set the profile in order to have the same profile published for all users.
Actually, it's the roaming application data folder which is used and the profile i've defined is available only for me.

How to force this profile for all users?
Do I have to create a reg key or something like that ?

Thanks
Regards
Olivier

Thanks for your reply.

I've added EnableApplicationDataRoaming in HKLM but nothing change... The profiles are only published for my account, not for others.

If you want to publish your server profiles between other user accounts, there are two ways of doing this:

1) You can simply copy your metabase.stg file into the data folder of each user accont (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\%LOGINGUSERNAME%\Local Settings\Application Data\Softerra\LDAP Administrator 4\)

2) Use Load\Save Configuration functionality. You save your configuration to a file and then distribute it between all users. After they load your settings, they will have the same application configuration with the same profiles.

There is no possibility to use shared configuration for all users.
