I get this when browsing a new openLDAP installation.

I've searched the boards and tried all the solutions I found, with no effect. I followed the hint link to the Entry Creation Wizard, but no matter what I try to create I always get Object Class Violation. Here's the applicable contents of the openLDAP config (slapd.conf, password obfuscated):

database bdb
suffix "dc=rss,dc=athensgroup,dc=com"
rootdn "cn=Manager,dc=rss,dc=athensgroup,dc=com"
rootpw ********

When I first connect to the new instance I get the view shown in the attached file. Other people seem to have succeeded in adding an OU, but there does not seem to be a place to add one.

Double click on the hint to launch Enrty Creation Wizard. It could help you creating top level entry. You should use the 'domain' object class.
