Just drag-n-drop the pane using mouse. It's almost like you can do with MS Office or Visual Studio applications.

pane problems

Postby mkgallagher » Thu Nov 29, 2007 2:41 am

I had the same problem today. My results pane is now stuck full window. The scope pane is either the top half, or overlays the results pane. Not sure how to restore it to "normal". I can move the scope pane back to it's original location, but can't rezie or move the results pane

If you have difficulties restoring pane to its original position using drag and drop you can reset application windows layout by removing GuiLayout property under the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Softerra\LDAP Administrator 3\Settings registry key.

I'm having the same problem. But I'm running LDAP Administrator 4 and I do NOT see a "GuiLayout" property in the registry.

I tried to dock the Scope Pane on the left for a side by side layout, but when I dock the pane, it just goes on top for a "horizontal" view.

If I try to drag-n-drop I get either a floating pane or dock on top. Not docking on the left.

Please, delete the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Softerra\LDAP Administrator 4 key in your registry. This should help.

Select the menu View->Result Panes-> List View. The List View displays the content of the entries selected in the Scope Pane (left pane).
