I just downloaded the LDAP Admin program to try out at our company. I'm trying to provide an LDAP server for several e-mail systems and also for directory [censored]istance.
We have about 40,000 contacts in our ACT2000 database. Does anyone have a clue about converting these to LDIF format?
Someone in the past suggested writing a Perl script, but my Perl knowledge is pretty limited.

Unfortunately we are not familiar with ACT2000, guess it is some DBMS. But you were suggested in the right way. You should write some script to convert your existing and it database doesnТt matter what the technology will be used. You can use Visual Basic, PHP or C++.
