Problem updating userPassword

Hi,

I need to change password in one directory from the values in another directory.
Whatever I try, entering it manually, or with the following ldif
# This file was generated on 2013-12-05 at 11:21:02
# by Softerra LDAP Administrator 2013.2 [ http://www.ldapadministrator.com ]
dn: uid=AROBEYS,ou=ouUsers,dc=extern,dc=capitalatwork,dc=com
changetype: modify
replace: userPassword
userPassword: {MD5}P8ImPB+IscHbYiDcOfyIng==

i get an Requested attribute does not exists or attribut inexistant

What LDAP server (vendor\version) do you use?

I use Openldap version 2.4.26
On some accounts the Password is shown, but when i want to modify it, a get the message Attribut inexistent

Hi,

We have tested this issue on our's Open LDAP servers, everything works. Could you please try to modify userPassword using the GUI - right click on the userPAssword attribute and select Edit Password command.

By the way, what is the object class of the entry, that you are changing?
