Terminal Server Licensing

Postby Hanspeter » Tue Oct 22, 2013 9:46 am

Hi

we have 10 License keys. We wish to install LDAP Admin on Citrix?

Is it allowed to use only 1 license, and limit use to 10 users?

How licensing on Terminal Server?

Hi,

If your terminal sever run operating system Windows Vista or higher, one license should be placed to each user folder

c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Softerra\LDAP Administrator 4\

Otherwise, it should be placed in:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Softerra\LDAP Administrator 4

Hi,

are you sure that your solution is working?
I did it exactly as you suggested, but if i launch LDAP Administrator i get only a 30 day trial version. If i copy one licence file into the app directory the program is licenced correct.

Do i have to pass an argument to the program start or something like that?

Regards
Albert

PS: Xenapp 6.5 on Windows Server 2008 R2

Hi,

Thank you for the info. We'll check this issue.

LDAP Administrator looks for the licenses in several locations: installation folder, roaming application data folder, etc.. So you can place your license key in one of those folder an it will be applied.

Please ensure, you have put the license exactly to this folder (if the folder does not exist, then please create it manually):
c:\Users\<LOGGEDONUSER>\AppData\Roaming\Softerra\LDAP Administrator 4\
