User Auditing and Reports

Postby RichClark » Mon Sep 29, 2003 1:59 pm

Is there any way that I can query a SunOne LDAP server to give me login information.

The sort of information that would be useful is:
Last Login
Failed Attempts
Successful Attempts

The problem that I have, is that we have a poorly written application that has very limited user auditing. Users authenticate against LDAP and then LDAP uses a proxy user to access the app.

I'm hoping that someone here can point me in the right direction, as i only have limited knowledge of LAp.

Cheers

As for the Ldap Administrator - http://www.ldapadministrator.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=171

Command line usage:
ldaphost# ldapsearch -v -x -b "ou=People,o=company.com" "(objectclass=person)" passwordRetryCount accountUnlockTime | more

You may query any operational attribute you need. http://docs.sun.com/source/816-6699-10/opattrib.html
