VLV and Simple Paging

Implemented support for the two most wide spread LDAP search operation extensions to enable handling directories that contain huge numbers of entries.

ManageDsaIT Control Support

The ManageDsaIT control is used to maintain subordinate knowledge information implemented by many LDAP servers via entries of the referral object class.

SASL Authentication

SASL is an Internet standards tracking method to authenticate remote computers. In contrast to the original LDAP authentication mechanism called simple bind, SASL provides more authentication security and we recommend to take every opportunity available to use SASL authentication instead of simple bind.

Start/Stop TLS

TLS (Transport Level Security), formerly known as SSL, is a transport level security that prevents your data from being compromised or falsified during transfer from server to client.

Credentials Manager

Credentials Manager is a centralized, well-protected way to store and manage credentials used to access LDAP servers.

Read-Only Server Profiles

Protects directory information from all sorts of accidental modifications.

Server Monitor

A tool to display server-specific internal monitoring and statistics information.

Context Sensitive Object Creation

Facilitates creation of objects by providing appropriate wizards depending of the current context.

Server Type Detection

Detects an LDAP server type using heuristic algorithms and adjusts the application behavior to a particular type for best performance.

LDAP Filter Builder

A tool that offers rapid, visual building and editing of LDAP filters. It includes customizable syntax highlighting, intellisense, expanded view and drag-and-drop.

Basket

The Basket is used for the collective management of LDAP entries located in different subtrees of several LDAP servers.

Multiple Modifications

Allows applying multiple modifications to several LDAP entries.

Load/Save Configuration

Full backup and restore of the application configuration.

Manage AD Application Partitions

Column Chooser

With this feature, you can select additional columns containing values of the specified attributes of entries in the List View pane, Basket and the Directory Search Results window.

Directory Reports

LDAP Administrator reports gather LDAP information from an LDAP server and present it to you in a more clear and concise manner. Reports facilitate LDAP directory analysis and monitoring and provide users with essential information about directory infrastructure and objects.

LDIF Editor

With this tool, you can now use LDAP Administrator to view and edit LDIF documents. LDIF Editor has many helpful features like syntax coloring based on LDIF file format, outlining, IntelliSense, etc. introduced to simplify the process of viewing and editing LDIF files.

Printing Support

Print Preview and Print features are now supported in HTML Pane and LDIF Editor.

Clear Auto-Saved Data Dialog

Navigation Bar

Navigation Bar replicates the address bar display of Windows 7's Explorer. It combines the history of browsed LDAP entries with the possibility to quickly switch between them, the Quick Search tool, and a new breadcrumb navigation control. Breadcrumb is a very powerful navigational tool that provides two dimensions for navigation: the horizontal breadcrumb structure that lead from the root of the directory to the current entry, and then any one of these breadcrumbs can be navigated vertically, through the child elements.

Renaming Multiple Objects

Allows to rename multiple objects with one operation. In addition, you can generate a unique name for each object using value references.

Recent Documents
