Directory Search is a tool to do a search inside a directory having specified certain criteria of what and where to look for. Unlike Quick Search where the main search criteria is a keyword or phrase to be contained in values of selected attributes, here you can find information by specifying an LDAP filter, and a Search DN to start searching from. The major distinction of Directory Search is that you are allowed to specify multiple LDAP attributes to spot their values in matching entries.
